Welcome to Asistar, the mobile application ("App") operated by Asistar ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Asistar. Customers join Asistar through a Provider invite link or by signing up in the App. You agree to give accurate information and to keep your account secure.
Customer: You can connect with Providers, book services, chat with your stylist, use the Asistar AI assistant, and leave reviews.
Provider: You may offer beauty services, manage your schedule and pricing, communicate with Customers, and accept bookings and payments through Asistar.
Asistar is a platform that connects Providers and Customers. Providers are independent professionals and are not employees or agents of Asistar. Providers are solely responsible for the services they perform.
All bookings made through Asistar are subject to Provider availability. A card-paid deposit or cancellation fee may apply according to the Provider booking policy shown before you confirm. Payments are processed by our payment partner and go to the Provider.
Providers pay a monthly subscription to use Asistar. New Providers receive a 1-month free trial. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Certain services (such as coloring, bleaching, and chemical treatments) may require you to complete a consent form before your appointment. Your Provider may decline the service if the form is not completed.
The Asistar AI Assistant answers questions using the services, prices, and availability shared by Providers. AI answers and message translations may contain mistakes. Please confirm important details with your Provider.
You agree not to: use false information or impersonate another person; post harmful, abusive, or unlawful content; harass other users; or misuse the App in any way that could harm others or Asistar.
Customers may leave reviews and ratings after appointments. Reviews must be honest and based on a real appointment. We may remove reviews that break these Terms.
Your personal information, including profile details completed during sign-up, is handled according to our Privacy Policy at asistar.app/privacy.
By giving your phone number and agreeing to receive texts (in the App when you sign up, or, for guest clients, by asking your Provider to book you and agreeing to be texted, which your Provider records in Asistar), you consent to receive text messages that Asistar sends on behalf of your Provider, such as appointment confirmations, reminders, schedule changes, and verification codes. Providers agree to enter a phone number only for clients who have agreed to be texted. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help, or contact hello@asistar.app. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying any service. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your mobile information. We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
You may stop using Asistar and delete your account at any time in Account settings. We may suspend or end accounts that break these Terms.
Asistar is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Asistar is not liable for the quality of services performed by Providers or for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the App.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in California.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
